Hello, School!
Our church rented the city pool Sunday afternoon for a final swim bash. The girls loved it! (Even though I had to remind them of our swimming rule in Idaho--no swimming unless it's at least 80 degrees. We made it, but it was definitely below 90.)
And then my baby started school Monday. Well, 4-year-old preschool, 3 half-days a week to be exact. I'm proud to say that neither one of us cried! I told my Mom that if I wasn't homeschooling her big sisters, and had had to go home to an empty house, I probably would've been a mess. Thankfully, their school kept me busy and satisfied, and she had 3 close friends in her class. I literally peeled her hand off of mine and put it on Claudia's before I left. She had a wonderful time each day. Mrs. Rita is a great teacher.
Also this week, I replaced my 23-year-old address book. The one that was given to me as a high school graduation gift! I found one the same size at the Dayspring Outlet this summer, so I was able to move some pages over instead of having to re-write everything. It felt good to have it so nice and new and organized, with no sticky notes or addresses Xed out...but I'm going to miss my old one. It's full of memories! Of friends far and near and even in heaven.
(That's our Idaho phone number and address. Kind of.)
I did bite the bullet and throw it away, but not before taking some pictures to keep forever!
I've also entered some photos, just for fun, at http://www.capturearkansas.com/. There are just a few more days to vote, so go look at my pics, and if you "dig it," vote for it! Maybe I'll make it into the book!

You still use a PAPER address book? I haven't had one of those in years. hee, hee. :)
I still have a paper address book! But I enter everything in pencil...then I can just erase details as they change!
How do you get your blog list to update? I want to do the same with mine but don't know how.
Your girls are too cute...shame about summer being over though, huh? I'm feeling it too! Only 8 more classes, only 8 more classes...:-)
