You know you're in the South...

...when you go to look at Christmas lights in flip-flops and no jackets because it's 78 degrees...and the next night it's in the teens.

...when it's so humid your driveway is soaking wet--under the carport.

...when college students call you Mrs. and ma'am

...when your children begin to add syllables to words (hair=hay-er, door=doe-er)

And I'm happy to be here. :)

how fun. we went to a dinner last night where one of the attendants and his wife were from Oklahoma. It made me think of you. :)

I told them about your your family's crazy pool dip in 70 degree water over Thanksgiving and how you thought it was way too cold.

He agreed.

I had been hoping for snow this year but God really out did himself. Now, I'm wishing it would warm up and melt some of the snow we have. Can I mail some to you?

Very, very funny. And your pronunciation guide is just perfect!

It was in the high 60s yesterday...it's 23 out right now. Crazy south.
