Fun at the Fair

We went to Texarkana to the 4 States Fair yesterday. The carnival was good, but there were hardly any animals or exhibits, and it was sooo hot. It made me miss the Nez Perce County Fair in Lewiston. We went every year with Tim and Denise, adding kids as they came along. It would be warm in the sunlight, but we'd always need jackets or coats as the sun went down. (Nostalgic sigh)
But here are some pictures of the fun we had:
(The above picture was Rebecca's last ride, with our last tickets, and she had to ride by herself...she did not have fun on the fun slide.)
Passing out tickets
The famous dragon roller coaster--Jessica rode this with Andrew when they were little and was scared to death!

It's not quite a safari, but look, Rebecca, a zebra!
They didn't have this Superman-style ride when I was a kid, but it looks like fun!
There wasn't a good petting zoo, where you walk around with the animals, but they still loved petting them through the fence.

My little city girls, "milking a cow"?

This was a joke for my girls, who are in a "cheese club". They're saying, "Cheese!"
