Today my baby girl turned 7. It was a school day and a Wednesday (AWANA, etc.) so we were pretty busy, but we did do some fun things. She had doughnuts made from canned biscuits for breakfast, then opened her presents.
I let her "give a gift" to her sisters--she got to pick one school subject for us all to skip. :) She chose math.
She also got to choose her favorite foods for supper...well, sort of. First she asked for ribs, and then steak, both of which I told her we just didn't have time for on a Wednesday night. So we had chicken strips, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, and rolls, and green cupcakes with pink frosting for dessert, then rushed to the church.
On Saturday she's having a Fancy (Nancy) tea party, hopefully with a bunch of friends. We invited 8, and know of 3 that can't come, but we'll have fun, anyway!
