- We jumped into school with both feet this week, and the girls worked really hard! I was proud of them. Jessica and I are still not enjoying Algebra 1. At. All. But we'll get through it, hopefully she'll learn something, and we're trying this curriculum next year.
- Rebecca started sewing lessons this week! She's making a skirt--can you believe it?
- We had game night to welcome the students back to the BCM. I got a kick out of watching Mike explain "Bunco." They must have enjoyed it, 'cause they played 2 rounds! As well as 4-on-the-couch and a bunch of board games.
- Our music minister is on a month-long sabbatical, so no Wednesday night choir rehearsals. It feels weird, but kinda nice to stay home for a change!
- We had so many overdue books on Thursday (even though I TOLD the girls to go online and renew) that it cost us $20 to go to the library. Scratch that--it cost them. I took it out of their allowances.
- I had a date Friday night! Mike and I ate at a small Italian restaurant in Texarkana, then bought ceiling fans for all the bedrooms (Thank you, Arkansas Baptists!) and new black boots for my birthday. :)
- Saturday we all worked together and cleaned the whole house! Mike and the girls finished up while I did the week's grocery shopping. Which better last for 2 weeks, since it took all the money.
- I exercised every day but one this week! It's hard for me to make the time, but I feel so good when I do.
- We watched this moving video in Sunday School this morning. ("Contains some graphic images," such as you might see in the reproduction chapter in a science book. Kids, ask your parents before you watch it.)
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.

Hope you and your family have a good week!
Which restaurant did y'all go to? Greg can't eat anything with tomato in it, so we no longer get to eat at yummy italian places. :(
We should meet up in Txkna sometime for lunch!!
Thanks, Cathie, you too!
Robin, we ate at Chappo's Italian Cuisine on Richmond. We were in and out in 30 minutes or less; they make everything fresh, so he could probably even request no tomato, and most entrees cost $8.50 or less. Stephanie (Kemp)H. told me about it. We should have an OBU reunion there!
Wow. Great video.
It's a mystery, it's magical, it's divinity!
