Twister

I love living in the South again...but I had forgotten what a chicken I am about tornado warnings!!! We were finishing up home school this afternoon (BTW--we started Monday, and it's very satisfying, but please pray for us!) and the tornado siren started going off. I thought to myself, "Self, it's Wednesday, but it's not noon." "Girls, let's finish math in the bathroom!" We stayed in for 30 minutes, during which time Mikayla decided to put it to good use. (pee-yew) Just like with bees and other stinging insects, I had to act brave to keep from scaring Jessica. We held hands and prayed for God to keep us safe, and kept doing our work, and now we're all just fine! Thank you, Lord!
Psalm 91:4 "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge."

Girl...I am terrified of tornadoes! And thankfully, we have very few out here. BUT when we lived in Arkansas, yikes! I had a hard time sleeping if there was even a threat of tornadic activity.

I'm SO glad you have begun homeschooling the girls! I know that it will be an amazing vessel that the Lord will use. I told Mike on facebook this morning, that you guys were missed...I'm even more sad when I realize that you were in town last weekend and I didn't know anything about it!! not just in town, but DOWN THE STREET! I would of helped ya paint ;~) alas, tis life, give all the girls a hug for me!

Lots of Love and Prayers

He will keep you safe...I just think of that song, When I am afraid I will trust in You...and sing it over and over again. Living in East Texas, we saw many tornadoes rip through, but God always protected the people I knew who were in the midst of it.
Praying for your homeschooling!
Love,
holly
