Small talk

[This was supposed to be "Pictures and small talk," but something went wrong and I don't have time to figure out what. I'll get back to the picture part.]
I love this time of year! The leaves are just gorgeous right now. Don't you love when the sun is shining on the leaves so that it looks like they're glowing all on their own?
Jessica loved the clouds this one afternoon, and took this picture. {not}
We got to go to Logoly State Park with CCHOICE (our homeschool coop) again on Friday. They made pinecone turkeys, then we ate lunch and played on the playground. Rebecca was the only one who listened to her mother and brought a jacket, so the big 2 were begging me to take them home out of the chilly wind. We were in a veritable blizzard of leaves.
(Can you tell we watched Anne of Green Gables the Sequel, which used to be called Anne of Avonlea, this afternoon? I said "veritable"--ha!)
The girls had dentist appointments with Dr. Rotton that afternoon, too. It still makes me laugh that two of our dentist choices in this town are Dr. Rotton and Dr. Payne. Which would you pick??
We also had a CCHOICE field trip to the Post Office this week. Did you know all personal mail is sorted by machine now? I don't know how a machine can read my handwriting when some people can't.
And of course I voted on Tuesday...that feels like such a long time ago. I'm definitely praying for our president-elect. I've read a lot of good blog reactions to the results. And that's all I have to say about that.
Oh, and my girls' "school pictures" have been posted online! Now we have to decide which ones to buy and what sizes. We're not good with decisions.
Okay, so this weekend is practically over. Next weekend we're going to Conway. The weekend after that we're going to Bossier City to RBB&B Circus (yay!), then leaving for Houston the next Monday for Thanksgiving. Which means the weekend after that we'll be decorating for Christmas!! Can you believe it??
Okay, I'd better go help Rebecca fix a Sunday night supper (cereal) before she's ready to graduate from high school.

I remember Dr. Payne, but not Dr. Rotton. That's funny!

I think I've told you this before, but I love Logoly!

Hope you have a great week, Kecia.

I would definitely go with Dr. Rotton. He wouldn't make me feel bad for having to fill rotten teeth.

I miss fall leaves. I've seen so many blog pictures of leaves this year and it's made me really miss the changing seasons.
