Vintgar Gorge was so beautiful that I couldn't stop taking pictures! I took over 70, and just can't bring myself to skip any of them. But wait! Don't run away! I'm only posting the pictures with people in them (mostly) today, and then I'll put the rest in a slide show. Or something. It was just so gorgeous, I wish everyone could see it!
In preparing for this trip, the girls and I did a Bible study about prayer walking which really affected my whole outlook on life. One thing that has lingered in my mind was the statement that darkness runs from the light, and the enemy cannot stay where Jesus Christ is worshiped. That statement had me singing praise choruses in New Orleans and in the middle of post-modern Slovenia. On this hike, Chris Tomlin's "Indescribable" kept popping into my head and out of my mouth.

As you can see, I wasn't the only one who was taking pictures. :) |

The boardwalk was originally built over 100 years ago! |

I never could get over the clear water! |
 |
That "over 100 years ago" made me a little uneasy once in a while... |

These picnic tables are where we had our supper. |

I don't know what that face is for, but it cracks me up! |
More pictures to come!
