Remember when our pilot friend showed the girls and I his plane and gave us a mini-lesson about flight? Well, he called us up one day and asked if we were busy, 'cause the weather was perfect for a quick flight!!! We were all so excited. Rebecca may have even been a little nervous!
Jessica was thrilled when Mr. Gene told her she'd be sitting up front with him. I was excited just to have my own headset. :)
Once we got in the air and I could look around, I was surprised at how rural we still are here. Not quite the vast wilderness areas of the Northwest, but still plenty of room! Here are the pictures we took:

How fun! The first time I ever flew was when a certain swimmer's dad took me up in his plane. He flew over OBU a couple of times. I loved it.
