June Bugs? June-y B. Stuff? Benny & June? Nah-

In June, Jessica went on her first mission trip! She went to Kansas City, Kansas, with a group of youth from our church. They worked at a homeless shelter and ran a sports camp for underprivileged kids alongside a local church. She had a great time!

We were all excited to have her home--especially Rebecca!
Jessica got home just in time for us all to go to one of our first SAU student's wedding. She did the neatest thing. She asked Mike and 2 other people she considers spiritual mentors to sit on the aisle with flowers she gave us. The pastor read a letter from her explaining who the people were, and then as she came down on her daddy's arm, she stopped at each one and added those flowers to her bouquet. It was precious!

Sorry I didn't get any pictures of Rebecca's napkin catching on fire at the reception. But here are a few of the pictures my girls took to entertain themselves waiting for it to start:

And one picture of us playing Would You Rather? one night.

Mike, Rebecca and I went to Siloam Springs Camp for Mike's annual BCM pizza party. Mikayla will get to go a week from now for kids' camp, and it's going to be so much fun. The weather was great while we were there, plus we got to get together with some old friends.

Rebecca spent the night with Kate and we picked her up at Krispy Kreme the next morning.

We also got to enjoy some CherryBerry fro yo!

When we got back, Jessica went to Super Summer JV at OBU, and Rebecca went to a sister church's VBS.
We have also enjoyed our own church's ministers' silliness at summer family worship!

I have one more week of June to tell you about, but I think that is enough for today. I'm sure you can see why my summer is flying by!

Sounds like fun but I'm disappointed that there was no pic of the flaming napkin - I think there is actually a Biblical connotation there somewhere... And I loved the idea of the bride gathering flowers as she walked down the aisle. Very sweet.

Sorry, Michelle--and unfortunately I've mostly been posting pictures because my brain is in summer mode!
