Cedar Point!!

The first thing we had to do on Wednesday was get our van window fixed. So we went to the Honda dealership in Sandusky and had some coffee and cokes (and  longed for the brand new Odysseys on the showroom floor) while they figured out what they needed to do, then drove the loaner they gave us to Cedar Point.

We were so excited!!

Cedar Point was SO MUCH FUN!!! I really loved it! The first roller coaster we rode (well, all but Rebecca rode it) was the Raptor, and we stood in line for over an hour but the ride was pretty long, too. And intense. After that there were hardly any lines!! And it was cool and rainy, so much so that we bought sweatshirts, but I loved not sweating in line! It was great.

Look at all the sea gulls on the roof!

The park has six thrill coasters called the wicked six, and Mikayla and I rode four of them. We were the only ones to ride the Dragster (the only other long line, just about 35 minutes). It goes 120 mph, straight up 300 feet, over and back down. It was over in 17 seconds, but SO CRAZY!!
We all rode Magnum, because we didn’t realize how intense it was until it was too late. Rebecca cried, but Jessica and I rode it twice.
Mike, Mikayla, and I got in line for Millenium Force, which is rated the number one roller coaster in the world and goes 90 mph. But only Mikayla and I ended up riding it. It was fun.
But our favorite was the Gatekeeper, which we all rode except Rebecca. It’s a floorless coaster that went out over Lake Erie and felt like you were flying!
Those were the four of the “wicked six” that we rode, but we also rode a couple of classic wooden coasters, and some carnival-type rides, and the Skyhawk, which was like the Barn Swing at Silver Dollar City. There was no line at all on that one so I rode it twice and Jessica and Mikayla rode it 4 times!
Rebecca's first roller coaster of the day!

"Cedar Downs" was not your ordinary carousel!

This is the Dragster. I rode that!!

Mike and Rebecca are somewhere on this runaway mine train-

It was a really fun, but exhausting day.
