Epcot!

Sunday morning we got up, ate in the room, and rode the Disney bus to Epcot. Our room was right by the bus depot! Very nice. It was chilly and windy that day, but not too bad.
One of my favorite parts of the day was standing by the rope, waiting to run to the "Soarin'" ride. Characters started coming out, and my kids' faces lit up. Several of them stopped and waved at us, and hugged the girls. It was so much fun!

We did rides in Future World that morning, and had lunch at the Coral Reef restaurant after riding "Nemo and Friends." Coral Reef was one of my favorite restaurants. My food was delicious, and I felt like I was eating under water, with one wall a giant aquarium that every table could see. We were seated right by a giant sea turtle that we thought was fake until a shark swam by and he woke up and swam around!! Too cool.

That afternoon we went to the World Showcase part of Epcot, which means we went to Canada, England, and France. A friend of mine from college lived in Orlando, and was at Epcot that day with her family, so we called each other on our phones all day and finally met up in England! It was a lot of fun to see her and meet her family.

Which phone booth picture was taken in London?

Right after I met up with Shelley, we had to hurry to Disney Hollywood Studios to see DHS's nighttime show, Fantasmic. We were about 45 minutes early, and got seats in the middle about 7 rows from the front. Mike grabbed pizza and cookies for  us, and we ate while we waited. It was an amazing show; I just LOVED it. I'm so glad my friend Rebecca encouraged us not to miss it. We were literally shivering uncontrollably by the time it was over, but it was worth it.

I loved Disney Hollywood Studios--this scene always got me excited!

We've never been to Disney (gasp!) I think it would be fun, but John isn't so sure...

Looks like you had a great time. Do I know your friend from college? She doesn't look familiar to me!
