More news from Slovenia

5/20
  • Slept great--there's a fan in our room! Aaaah.
  • J.P. has a dream for Passion to come to an amphitheater in Ljubljana--we prayed there this morning.
  • I met Angie--she gave me a hug "from Lydia."
  • Every high school senior in Slovenia graduated today, and they had a nationwide party at noon. We watched the one in Kranj and passed out evangelistic fliers.
  • Mike would have LOVED our lunch today. I'd tell you what it was but I don't really know. Or how to spell it. And at 11:15 pm I can't even remember how to say it. Meat and bread and cheese butter stuff. MMMMmmmm.
  • There is one evangelical church in Kranj--a Bible church. 10-15 people go there. Out of the 50,000 who live there. We went to their youth fellowship tonight, and they had around that many youth show up! We played games and 2 of my girls shared their testimonies.
  • We left around 10:30, went to McDonald's for supper. I have now eaten at McDonalds in at least 3 countries. (can't remember if I did in Ecuador or Canada)
  • Got back to the room at midnight, so tired I felt sick. Slept untl 8! :D
  • Look! I had a delicious hot drink, too!

Crazy May

In case you miss me this month, here's what I'll be doing:

May 2: Eye doctor appointment (at which I'll probably be given bifocals...) followed by 2 house closings (the one we're selling and the one we're buying)

May 6: Moving day!

May 10-15: Family vacation/Mike's graduation in New Orleans

May 18-28: Mission trip to Ljubljana, Slovenia with Amber, Amy, Ashley, and Lauren (in case you want to pray for us by name)

Have a nice month!
